"I'm Nathalie Jane 'Cabbie" Lopez from Manila, Philippines. I'm married with 4 active boys at large. I'm a physician by profession but chose to be with my kids for the meantime. I love to create anything under the sun and i go for the classic, vintage and aged look though I like to experiment with different techniques too. Last october 2007, I am honored to be chosen as the first Scrappinmoms Idol ( a local challenge for scrapbookers). I am also a DT member for Scrapbookshawaii ( a store in the Philippines and Hawaii). "

"Hello hello! I'm Felicia from Singapore, (you can call me feli too!). I'm a Uni student who started scrapping in January this year. But my love for handicraft has started way before that.. Scrapbooking is something i'd always love. Altering to me is really fun cos practically everything can be used. I'm so excited to be part of Artz de Scrap and I hope to inspire and be inspired by all the altered projects that will be coming up! My ideas come from everywhere. Like on my inspiration board, Creativity comes from just being myself and the materials I used!!"

Artz de Scrap's Chosen Inspirational Scrapper for December 07 is

Lesley Langdon

Lesley has been scrapping in one way or another for many years. She is a designer for Cornish Heritage Farms and Scraptivity Kit Club. Lesley loves being creative, forcing herself to use what she has at her fingertips. She believes that anything goes in scrapbooking, do what's best to remember what is important to you. She lives in Canada with her husband and 2 children.

Christmas Gift Bag with Card

Do you love to make your own personalized wrapping for gifts? Try this!!!
Its easy, and creative project to dress up ordinary paper gift bags.
Pull out your backgrounder stamps, ink, lace, ribbons, buttons, cardstock, and whatever you have to make a personalized gift bag.

Lesley is planning on using red stickles to write the gift recipient's name on the stocking.

The stocking decoration on the front is actually a card that opens on the left, and you can put your personal greetings inside.

Final Step - Step 7 - add ribbons to the gift bag handles

Inspiration Board - Challenge #1

Are you ready for Artz de Scrap's first Challenge?

The first challenge will be for you to show us your board of inspiration. This can also be your current board (be it a corkboard, clipboard, poster board, canvas etc) where you would put up all your favourite photos, embellies, cutouts etc to draw inspirations to scrap from it (the board can be of any size).

"This is my inspiration board. I get my inspiration to scrap from my son's photos. I love all things that blings (as you can see here)! I also love beautiful flowers and cutouts. The centre piece is my son's artwork that I really love."

Wati's Inspiration Board

"I just have to put Adam & Chris pics..who are my muse, my source of inspiration and my common subjects for all my layouts.
Having my favourite stash... flowers & buttons on it is just so convenient! I even have a bag of all the photos that I need to scrap on it...as they somehow elevate my mojo, like my travel pics...just by looking at them reminds me of the great time that I had, and it eases my mind thinking about it."

We are looking for talented scrappers who love to alter items and just can't stop thinking of altering when looking at something.

You would need to submit to us your inspiration board as in the 1st Challenge and a previous mini book that you have done before.
