For our March challenge, personalise a pocket as your Family's Communication pocket to leave letters or notes for your family members.

Feb - March 08 Inspirational Scrapper

Artz de Scrap's Chosen Inspirational Scrapper for Feb 08 is

Sri Sams

My name is Sri and currently we live in Southern Florida. I came from Singapore and have lived in the States since 1996. I went to Hawaii to pursue my degree in Tourism and never came back home! kekekeke.... I am a stay at home mom to 3 girls...Yasmine, 6 years old, Juliana, 4 years old and my little baby, Lilia, 4 months old. I'm married to a wonderful man, Jeff, for 8 years now. I started scrapbooking in June 2005 and have been addicted ever since.

Tutorial #3

Altered Canvas Frame

Create this lovely Frame for your loved ones this February!

Supplies needed:

Large altered frame 6x8 or larger - Mine is from Be.

1 patterned paper

Several ric racs/ribbons

Paper flowers of various sizes

Matching Alpha chipboards

Paper embellishments

Modpodge

Craft Knife

Ink

Paper cutter
Adhesive

Step 1

a) Clean the frame before altering it, making sure the surface is clear of dusts.

b) Cut the patterned paper to the size of the frame.

I put the patterned paper on top of the frame, and using a craft knife, I cut out a rectangle for the placement of the photo.

Step 2
Glue the patterned paper to the frame. Ink it and modpodge it, if you like
(you dont have to modpodge it).

Step 3
Slide a photo in place and embellish around it.
